Safety Program Review & Development
NFPA 70E requires that every facility establish and maintain an electrical safety program.
Power Management can assist in reviewing or developing a comprehensive electrical safety program to support your facility. This program should include:
Hazard/risk evaluation procedures to mitigate the level of risk
- Engineering report that includes the results of the arc flash analysis, updated single-line drawings on electrical systems, signs and labels on equipment and hazardous areas
- Approved training program in which employees become aware of electrical hazards
- Safe work procedures and controls to minimize risk of electrical accidents
- Appropriate safety tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Regularly scheduled audits and inspections
Safety is not expensive, it's priceless
